As John Cena and Nikki Bella continue to become more well-known for their relationship than their careers as wrestlers, part-time actors and whatever else, the revelations about the pair just keep on rolling in.
In what feels like a decade, but is actually just a few weeks, rumours and gossip about the pair has spread like wildfire after they announced their separation just a year after they got engaged.
The engagement came after the couple had beaten The Miz and Maryse in a tag-team match in front of 65,000 fans at WrestleMania 33. However after five years together, the pair called it quits.
Then Cena appeared on US breakfast TV, where he spoke rather passionately about the break-up.

After being informed of John’s heartfelt message, Nikki responded by saying ‘Wow! Well I’m speechless. Yeah that’s crazy’.
However, she did elaborate:
I just want John and I both to live happily ever after whether it’s together or separate and I just don’t want us to go down the road in life and have regrets of like ‘I did this for you’ or ‘you did this for me,’ so I think it’s okay in relationships to take that moment.
That day I say my vows. I want to say them once and I want to fully mean them and so that’s what made me hesitant. Am I ready to say these vows?
Now, as their saga continues (well, they did film it all for a television programme…) scenes of John and Nikki’s emotional decision to split have surfaced.
The conversation starts with Nikki explaining that since her sister Brie became a mother she has wanted to have a baby too, however John has so far been set against having children.
Nikki says:
I just wish I could feel different.
This is the hardest thing I think I’ve ever been through.

However, John did recently tell TMZ that he has been changing his mind over starting a family.
He said:
I would love to be a dad… and I realise very much that I have been steadfast in saying that I don’t want children.
And the reason for the change of heart?
Because I dedicated my life to my work and now I’m realising that there is life and life exists and it’s beautiful and I think part of that is being a parent.
Nikki has also added to the speculation that the pair may not be entirely over, by revealing the one thing which’ll make her take John back, reports Elite Daily.
She said in a recent interview at a Total Bellas junket:
Time. It’s going to take time. So, honestly, only time can tell.
John and I, we absolutely love each other and we care about each other a lot. We are best friends and, right now, we’re both giving each other time separately and maybe there’s hope that we reunite in the future.
Only time will tell!
