Another scheduled headline fight has been lost after Chris Weidman pulled out of UFC 199 through injury.
Weidman was due to fight Luke Rockhold in a middleweight title rematch on June 4 after Rockhold took the belt back in December.
As reported by MMA Fighting, the UFC are seeking a replacement and they already have one very willing volunteer.
Training camps separate the boys from the men. This sport isn't for everyone. 2 weeks notice? I'm down!!! @ufc #realfighter #fightersfighter

Ariel Helwani reports that Bisping faces competition from Ronaldo Souza to replace Weidman on the card.
Bisping and Souza both have scores to settle with Rockhold, after the current champ tapped the British fighter out back in 2014, and Souza was dispatched by unanimous decision in a Strikeforce bout in 2011.

Bisping has gone undefeated since that November night, most recently claiming an impressive victory over Anderson Silva upon the Brazilian’s UFC return.
