Conor McGregor is known for ruffling feathers – but his own fans tend to stay loyal to The Notorious.
McGregor spends most of his time winding up his Octagon opponents – and more recently, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather – but a photograph taken by the UFC champ has annoyed pretty much everyone.
The picture, seemingly snapped by McGregor from the driver’s seat of a moving vehicle, shows his heavily pregnant long-term girlfriend, Dee Devlin, putting her feet up on the dashboard without a seatbelt fastened.
While we all know pregnant women have a free pass to put their feet up in pretty much every day-to-day scenario, many Instagram commentators have pointed out the dangers of this particular family portrait.
They criticised 28-year-old McGregor for his irresponsible driving – particularly while carrying such precious cargo.
One observer wrote:
Legs on the dashboard can seriously injure you if ye crash, no seat belt on and taking selfies while driving.
Another concerned – and graphic – comment read, ‘Dee don’t do that love, if you get into an accident the airbag pushes your legs through your eye sockets.’
A further pointed out the many problematic elements of the photograph:
So many things wrong with this picture. No seat belt, feet on the dash, using phone whilst driving.
McGregor is taking some time out from training – despite investing in a specially-designed boxing ring – to welcome his new baby with Dee.
Liverpudlians were treated to a visit from McGregor, who enjoyed an Aintree weekender and documented it accordingly, during his time out of the Octagon.
While his fans are happy to watch him let loose in and out of the ring, their concern for his unborn baby is both evident and endearing.
