Mick Konstantin thought he’d chime in with his own hot take on the upcoming fight, by writing a song about McGregor’s journey so far.

The catchy-as-hell song was posted on Facebook with the caption:

Just throwing up the yearly tune. Thought I’d do one on Conor McGregor, and the fight coming up against Mayweather.

Tried to get as many of his famous lines in as possible, so hope ye like it.

And if anyone out there knows Conor personally, feel free to pass the song on to him, sound!

The post has racked up almost three million views since its upload, and it’s not hard to see why.

The song captures the Irish support for Notorious and absolutely lays into Mayweather.

Some of the lyrics include:

There’s only one Conor McGregor, and there’s no fighter better.

And he’s going to knock out Floyd Mayweather.

So Floyd watch out cos the Irish are comin’.

You can talk all you want, but you’ll do nothin’.

Thanks to the power of the internet, it seemed inevitable that McGregor would get wind of this cheeky little number.

He’s actually reached out to Mick, and he’s given him the best response.

He told MMA Fighting:

It was one hell of a song. It’s a very catchy song. We actually reached out to the guy.

I had my people reach out to him and we’re booking him a flight, him plus one.

We’re going to bring him over to the fight and get him tickets and put him up in a hotel and I’m going to meet him maybe after the fight. It’s one hell of a song.

I’m going to bring him in as a thank you for the support. What a song, it’s the journey in music form.

Myself and my team, we enjoyed it very much, so we’re going to fly him out.

Mick confirmed this on his Facebook account.
