The world of MMA is still digesting Conor McGregor’s supposed retirement, and many fellow fighters have taken to twitter to respond.
The nature of the Dubliner’s retirement remains to be seen, one thing is certain, he won’t be fighting at UFC 200 in July.
Contrary to his response to the news, Nate Diaz is still set to appear at the MGM Grand.
I guess my work here is done I'm retiring too✌?️??

Jose Aldo kept his reply short and sweet before promptly hitting delete…

CM Punk – who has yet to fight in the UFC – suggested he may follow suit.
Well fuck it, I have decided to retire old. Thanks for the shoes @Reebok

But there are plenty willing to step into the Octagon in the Irishman’s place though…

If they will make it the new main event I'll fight an actual rabid animal at UFC200. I want 1/10 of whatever Conor did.

I also offer to wear the McGregor tattoos and fight vs Nate Diaz if we can do a catch weight. Hell I'll even get the ACTUAL tattoos for $$$

Eddie Alavarez made a very simple proposal that his UFC Fight Night title bout be moved two days.

While others are laying the blame squarely at Dana White and the UFC’s door.

It seems most pros are just as in the dark as fans though.
I remember it like it was yesterday when Conor, Rousey and Sage could do no wrong. My oh my how things have changed. WOW

The UFC’s bicentennial show is in serious need of a saviour.
