Dee Devlin, Conor McGregor’s girlfriend, has given birth to the couple’s second baby together.
The UFC fighter posted a photo with the new addition and his older boy, Conor Jr., as he left the hospital with them in tow.
Dee wasn’t pictured with them but is said to be ‘energised and healthy’, and is heading home too.
The proud dad couldn’t wait to share the news with his Instagram followers, and posted the sweet picture earlier this afternoon (January 4).
He wrote:
Heading home with my two healthy babies and an energized and healthy SuperMam. 2019 is off to the best start!
Thank you for the well wishes everybody!
Obviously wanting to keep some things between family, the controversial UFC star kept the new addition hidden; instead, all three had their backs to the camera.
It’s not yet known whether the newest member of the McGregor family is a boy or a girl, but I’m sure there will be an announcement soon.
The announcement that McGregor was set to have his second child with partner Dee was made in a cheeky Instagram post in July last year.
What fans thought was going to be his 30th birthday celebration post turned out to be an announcement, and a birthday present, no one was expecting for The Notorious.
It read:
Happy 30th birthday babe! Thank you for being you! Love you to bits from me, Conor Jr and the bump.
They had their first child in May 2017, and now, nearly two years later, the couple have had their second.
And if the two youngsters are anything like their dad, they could soon be following in their father’s footsteps.
In fact, it looks like Conor Jr. might already be doing so, as footage has shown the one-year-old throwing punches just like the MMA icon.
The Irish fighter shared a video to Instagram which, at first glance, appeared to be just a regular video of him training as he threw punches at some strange-looking equipment.
After a few seconds of watching McGregor go to town on the equipment, the camera panned to reveal the adorable sight of his son wearing boxing gloves and showing a miniature punching bag who was boss.
The 30-year-old wasn’t only joined in training by his son, but also by his father, who appeared at the end of the video decked out in a blue tracksuit and taking on yet another form of punching apparatus.
The fighter shared the video with the inspirational caption:
We are never too young to start and never too old to learn.
Adorable. The fact he can even stand up at one is impressive enough – never mind punching that miniature bag as though his little life depends on it!
