Frank Lampard isn’t having a great time of it in America.
He’s recently been voted the MLS’s worst ever signing, while his club, New York City FC, are pretty shit.
Despite boasting the likes of Lampard, David Villa and Andrea Pirlo, the newly formed side finished eighth out of ten teams last season, but managed to pick up a win on Saturday.
All three of City’s marquee names scored as they beat Philadelphia Union 3-2, and Lampard was on target for the opening goal.
As you can see, Villa was first to Lampard to celebrate, but at the end of the game the mood had clearly changed.
Walking towards the Spaniard to what he thinks will be a celebratory hug, Villa berates the former Chelsea man, pointing in all directions as if to say ‘you should have been marking people better’.

It’s awkward as fuck as Lampard tries to hug the angriest Spaniard since General Franco, and Villa walks off muttering to himself, clearly still pissed off.
Whether or not he was mumbling “fucking fat English bastard” is still unconfirmed, but Lampard is rumoured to be a fan of the odd KFC.
Maybe NYCFC manager Patrick Vieira can sort out the rifting players, just like he used to sort out Roy Keane back in his playing days…
