Only eight months have passed since Floyd Mayweather ‘retired’ from boxing.

He out-pointed and out-classed Andre Berto, to take his record to a perfect 49-0. An incredible feat.

But how has he been spending his retirement? Galavanting around the world with stacks and stacks of cash of course:

Oh, and he got a tiger for Crimbo too, no big deal:

But maybe, just maybe this life of insane luxury might be boring the undefeated boxer as he’s dropped the biggest hint yet that he could come out of retirement, but only for a ridiculous amount of money.

The 39-year-old insisted only a ‘nine-figure’ pay check would be enough to tempt him into returning. Not greedy at all.

Mayweather was ringside as a promoter of Badou Jack’s WBC super-middleweight world title fight with Lucian Bute in Washington DC.

Speaking to Showtime, he claimed he was happy in retirement, but hadn’t entirely closed the door on a return:

Yes, I’m happy to be where I’m at. Everyone is asking, asking me, ‘Is Floyd Mayweather coming back?’ Right now, I’m happy on this side of the ropes, but I’ve been talking with CBS and Showtime and you just never know. But for now, I’m happy on this side. As of right now, you know, some crazy numbers have been thrown my way, upwards of, of course, nine figures. I’m truly blessed, way beyond belief. I don’t know what we’re going to do, but right now, I’m happy being on this side helping fighters.

But who could be pitted against? Well it definitely won’t be middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, that’s for sure. Mayweather quickly brought up that the difference in weight would be too much of an issue.

What seems more likely is a bout with the unbeaten Danny Garcia, who is the current WBC welterweight holder.

Mayweather seems a bit more up for that:

Danny Garcia, another name, undefeated prospect, undefeated champion in two different weight classes. Very exciting fighter. You just never know.

An even more unlikely source could be Conor McGregor, who called out Mayweather a couple of months back to get involved in a ‘billion-dollar fight’. Though we highly doubt he’d take him up on that offer.

When Mayweather was asked if it would be for the money or the opportunity to take his record to 50-0, he replied: “Both. Yes, I’m happy to be where I’m at.”

Yeah, it’s not like he needs anymore money does he?
