Floyd Mayweather Makes Huge Bet On Himself To Beat Conor McGregor

Floyd Mayweather has placed a huge bet on himself beating Conor McGregor in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Yep, it ain’t just your average Joe who plans to make some cash from the fight between the veteran boxer and UFC fighter.

This is reportedly the first and last time Mayweather will ever bet on himself.

Such is the level of self-belief that Mayweather is willing to put his money where his mouth is over the super fight.

And how much exactly I hear you ask? ‘Most likely’ his biggest amount ever according to the star.

A beautiful skull and a beautiful belt to add to my collection of skulls and belts.

As reported by USA Today, Mayweather said:

You guys will see the ticket, don’t worry.

You guys will see the betting ticket. I can’t really say what’s the number, but I will bet something heavy. Will it be my biggest bet ever? Most likely.

While a newbie to betting on his own fights, (which I’m pretty sure is illegal but hey-ho), Mayweather is no rookie when it comes to gambling.

Mayweather famously loves to bet big numbers on professional sports, including basketball and NFL games.

Las Vegas betting insider R.J. Bell said the 40-year-old is laying down an eye-watering $5 million.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Mind you, that’s peanuts to Mayweather. It’s a polymer fiver.
