It seems like not everyone loves Justin Timberlake after all, after he was slapped round the face by a drunken stranger at a golf tournament.
JT was making his way through a crowd at the 27th annual American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe, when he took five to the face by a disgruntled onlooker, reports the Daily Mail.
The random – and bizarre – attack was caught on camera and although Mr Timberlake didn’t get crazy mad, you can tell that it – understandably – pissed him off as he turned to his attacker and shouted: “Bro, why would you do that?”
As he’s led away you can just about hear the guy shout: “I just wanted to touch him!”
Well that’s fair enough then mate. If only everyone acted on their bizarre impulses to touch someone by slapping them across the chops the world would be a much better place…
Maybe not though.
Tournament officials at the competition apparently only considered it a ‘minor incident’ and JT declined to seek charges against the guy.
However, plot twist, the dude was later arrested for disorderly conduct after a separate incident followed by his refusal to leave the premises.
Ultimately it didn’t seem to spoil Justin’s fun – he joined Alfonso Ribeiro and Stephen Curry for a brief dance break, ripping up Carlton’s infamous Fresh Prince of Bel-Air moves – and eventually finished in 21st place.
All’s well that ends well…
