When it comes to trophies, anything that is shiny and sliver qualifies, especially if you’ve only won a couple of FA Cups in the last decade, so when Arsenal lifted the Asia Trophy, their fans were quite impressed.
Of course, the Gunners have Petr Cech now, who justified his price tag and all the hype surrounding his move with a world class save on his debut, and Arsenal fans are looking ahead to next season with optimism.
Quite if beating Everton and a couple of other no mark sides really does mean you have the necessary credentials to win the Premier League remains to be seen, but for now, Arsenal fans are taking what they can get – and making sure everyone knows about it on social media as well.
Here’s how the internet reacted to more ‘success’ for the Gunners.
And obviously this means the quadruple is on the way…

3-0 Arsenal! I know it's pre-season but throw Benzema into Arsenal's side and Wenger will be squaring right up to Jose!

As much as the Asia trophy isn't such a big deal, if Arsenal hadn't won the ‘irreverent' Asia trophy, these rivals will still moan about it.

And back to reality…
Arsenal have always been able to beat the teams below them, hence why they always get 4th.
If they get a few decent results vs. Top 3…

Petr Cech makes an easy save and Arsenal fans call it world-class… shows the quality of players they've had to deal with in recent years.
