No one understood when Jose Mourinho decided to bring Radamel Falcao to Stamford Bridge in the summer, and after his first couple of appearances for Chelsea, it seemed the Blues had yet another forward crock on their hands.
That was until the chips were down against Crystal Palace, and Jose Mourinho had no other option but to throw the Colombian striker on.
Falcao managed to get a goal – and stun football fans everywhere.
Sadly, it was not enough for Chelsea, who conceded a second straight after their goal, and lost once again and are now eight points behind Manchester City.
Here is how the internet reacted:
The shock was palpable…

Let’s not go too far…
Radamel Falcao on for redemption. Time to grab your first hatrick in English football.
Come on son.
