Getty/@thenotoriousmma/InstagramWe’re three months on from UFC 229, and the main event, Conor McGregor v Khabib Nurmagomedov, yet it seems the beef between the pair hasn’t fizzled out just yet.
Khabib defeated McGregor in the fourth round of their highly anticipated lightweight title fight at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, before igniting a mass brawl by jumping over the Octagon to attack his rival’s corner.
He was involved in a physical altercation with Dillon Danis – a Bellator welterweight who trains with McGregor – with the pair eventually being separated by police officers.
Meanwhile, three members of Khabib’s entourage used it as an opportunity to make their way into the Octagon and attack the Irishman.
McGregor opted not to press charges, but both fighters need to settle up with the Nevada State Athletic Commission before a rematch can even be talked about.
Meanwhile, over on social media, McGregor posted a lengthy message on Instagram, using it as an opportunity to vent about fighters’ tendencies to ‘bitch’ nowadays – especially Khabib.
He started by addressing his former sparring partner, Paulie Malignaggi:
Let the record show. I like Paulie Malinaggi [sic]. Here is a confrontation between us regarding a picture he was upset about. Yes you heard that right. A picture.

I told him here to his face. “Don’t be bitching.” Common knowledge I would think for a fighting man. Don’t be a bitch, bitching.
The same thing I said to khabib at the end of round 3. My round. Don’t be bitching!Every single round bitching to the referee. He was even bitching in the fourth round from mount position. It baffled me.
If anyone should have been saying anything to the referee, it should have been me in that 1st round. That round he held onto my legs for four minutes straight. With zero activity.
But a fight is a fight who gives a fuck. Crying to the referee like a proper bitch. I was trying to dig my fingers into his Adams Apple.
Many individuals in the fight business, I have learned lately, are absolute bitches. I know you’s are broke boys. But don’t be broke bitches.
And Khabib’s response?
The UFC Lightweight Champion also took to Instagram to bitch hit back, and uploaded an image of the moment he forced McGregor to tap out.
His accompanying caption read:

All beef to one side, the UFC fighters are currently awaiting their punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, over the disgraceful scenes which marred their contest.
They’re expected to hear their fate by the end of this month.
