It could easily rise to $350 million and so Mayweather had every right to show off the size of his winner’s cheque in the immediate aftermath of his win.

The proud American, who will now retire with the greatest boxing record ever – an unblemished 50-0 – has been shamelessly showing off his earnings in a video posted on his Instagram account.

In the behind-the-scenes video, Mayweather is all smiles for the camera and flaunts his giant cheque as well as the WBC ‘Money Belt’.

He’s never looked happier and of course, he headed straight to a strip club.

Although McGregor succeeded in early rounds, he soon tired out and allowed Mayweather to take charge – pinning him to the ropes and raining in punches.

The referee stopped the contest in the tenth round and Mayweather was crowned the victor.

It’s not all bad news for McGregor though – he’s still expected to earn around $75 million from the super-fight.
