Miesha Tate’s coach and partner has revealed who he would like to see Tate fight at UFC 200, and it will no doubt piss Ronda Rousey off.

Bryan Caraway has argued that the current women’s bantamweight champion should fight Amanda Nunes next, meaning Rousey would have to wait.

Speaking to MMA Junkie, he said:

If we just keep the cycle of Ronda always in the mix, it’s not really fair for these other girls who put together a win streak and get pushed aside.

Nunes is on a three-fight win streak and is looking super tough. She finished Sara McMann. She absolutely deserves that.

Caraway added:

I don’t think (Rousey) should come back and fight Miesha right away. I think she should fight Holly again. It doesn’t matter if Ronda beat Miesha back in the day. It’s a new age now; Miesha’s the world champion now. You can clearly see she’s a different fighter, and I think Ronda should have to beat Holly to get a shot at the belt, or a Holly rematch.

It almost sounds as if there’s some reason Miesha Tate would want to avoid a rematch with her arch rival…

Rousey meanwhile has been busy eating solid food to prove she’s recovered from the devastating loss to Holly Holm which left her in need of plastic surgery.

Brace yourself…

In all seriousness, it is good news that apples should once again fear Rousey.

As for whether Tate should be similarly afraid, well, that’s up to Dana White.
