Am amateur MMA fighter died on Saturday night after a fight on Louisville, Kentucky.
37-year-old Donshay White collapsed following his heavyweight fight against Ricky Muse.
It was White’s first bout in almost two years. The fight was stopped as soon as he became unresponsive.
Referee Gary Copeland intervened after two minutes and 22 seconds into the second due to White failing to fend off a series of vicious hits.
Although responding throughout the fight, White received medical attention immediately after it was finished.
He walked backstage and collapsed short after, later getting whisked off to Kentucky One Health Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
The specific time and cause of his death at not yet known.
His last appearance was in November 2015 at Hardrock MMA 76 where he K.O’d Joe Johnson Jr in the first round.
