According to model and fitness enthusiast Gemma Atkinson, dating the Real Madrid star was way more down to earth than you’d expect.
Speaking to the Manchester’s Key 103 the 30-year-old revealed that the pair would enjoy just curling up on the sofa with a brew.
PAAtkinson said:
It was really, really glamorous.
We just went to my house and drank cups of tea and watched Only Fools and Horses . Genuinely.
I don’t know if he’s into it now, but it was on the telly. Only Fools and Horses and cups of tea, he seemed to enjoy it then but I’m going back about six/seven years.
Atkinson added that when the pair split she resisted the urge to sell the nitty gritty details of their relationship.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, she said:
With Cristiano it was mad, because everywhere he went he was followed by photographers.
When we did split up I got offered so much money to speak about him and I didn’t want that.
Good on her, doubt too many celebrity exes would have done the same!
