Having told Dana White that he was either fighting Conor McGregor at UFC 200 or taking a vacation, Nate Diaz is enjoying his time off.
However, White has hinted that McGregor could fight as soon as UFC 201 and while no date for that event has been locked in, July 30th has been suggested.
So, like the true pro he is, Diaz is keeping in good shape in the likelihood that he will be fighting this summer. He was joined at the gym by martial arts legend and action movie star Jean Claude van Damme, reports BJPENN.com.
The pair apparently got involved in a brief sparring session, and in photos posted to Instagram by Van Damme the pair can be seen posing not only in the gym, but also alongside a motorbike, because you know, testosterone.

If the McGregor-Diaz fight does take place at the end of July it would be only three weeks after UFC 200 and it will be interesting to see what weight division Diaz fights in.
He is currently the fifth-ranked lightweight but defeated McGregor at welterweight.
YouTubeThere have also been rumours that Diaz wanted to pit himself against UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, but Ali Abdel-Aziz, the Brazilian’s manager, has reportedly denied that discussions took place.
Either way, with Van Damme in your corner you wouldn’t want to bet against Diaz.
