Kyrie Irving is one hell of a basketball player but his critique of established scientific facts? Meh, not so much.
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ point guard has had his say on world history and he doesn’t trust the ‘facts’ scientists have fed us with their ‘evidence’ one bit.
Speaking on the Road Trippin podcast the Australian born athlete first took aim at Aristotle and his silly idea that Earth is spherical.
As reported by BroBible, Irving said:
This is not even a conspiracy theory. The Earth is flat. The Earth is flat. The Earth is flat.
And his explanation for such an outrageous theory was obviously faultless.
He continued:
Because everything that they send — or that they want to say they’re sending — doesn’t come back. There is no concrete information except for the information that they’re giving us.
They’re particularly putting you in the direction of what to believe and what not to believe. The truth is right there. You just got to go searching for it.
He then turned his attention to dinosaurs.
Irving argued ever so eloquently:
They find one bone and make up 98 percent of it digitally…And then they give it to, uh, pictures of what they should look like.

Science is all about questioning, but generally it helps if you have some evidence in your corner rather than just pointing fingers at ‘they’ and their ‘so-called research’.
I wonder if the NBA has an official tinfoil headwear provider yet…
