After staying on in Las Vegas to watch his little brother Nate compete at UFC 202, Nick Diaz was attacked by three men at a nightclub.

It has been reported that the UFC fighter was set upon at Hyde nightclub in Vegas in the early hours of yesterday morning, TMZ reports.

A rep from the club told the gossip site that Diaz was attacked after accidentally bumping into a reveller when he entered a toilet just outside the venue at around 2.30am.

Diaz immediately apologised, but the guy was having none of it. They exchanged some pretty nasty words, before Diaz took a few blows.

He also fought back and tried to defend himself, before being set upon by other men and being hit hard in the head.

Apparently, this is when the brawl really erupted, as it spilled out onto the Bellagio’s casino floor, with casino staff claiming the attackers were swinging chairs and brawling with club and casino employees. They were eventually removed by security.

It seems Diaz wasn’t too shaken up by the ordeal, telling TMZ: “I didn’t start it. They didn’t know who I was… They got the worst of it.”

Diaz had been barred from attending UFC 202 at the T-Mobile Arena, last Saturday, for his part in the chaos that ensued during the final press conference between brother Nate and Conor McGregor.

Hopefully, we’ll see soon see him back fighting in the Octagon instead of a random casino, now his ban for cannabis use has finally ended.
