Paulie Malignaggi Calls Bullsh*t After McGregor Sparring Video Released

We’re just two weeks away from the superfight of the century between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor and we now have a slight conspiracy on our hands.

It’s no secret that former Welterweight world champion, Paulie Malignaggi, stormed out of the McGregor training camp last week after a photo was leaked of him sprawled out on the canvas during sparring with the Notorious.

Now a very short video has also been released of McGregor looking like an absolute unorthodox beast and knocking (or more probably) pushing Malignaggi to the ground.

As you can probably imagine Paulie is incredibly pissed – calling out both Dana and McGregor for publishing a tiny excerpt of the sparring video and not the entire thing, which Paulie claims tells a very different story.

And of course – because the entirety of everything is decided over Twitter nowadays, Malignaggi has been tweeting like a madman about the farce:

Speaking earlier to The MMA Hour, Malignaggi added:

This guy is one of the biggest dirtbags I’ve ever met in my life – bar none.

I was amazed at what a dirtbag this person is. I don’t care if we never speak again. My life is fine if I never see Conor McGregor again.

Malignaggi did, however, add that McGregor has great punching power that could drop any fighter if used correctly, although he explained that McGregor wasn’t the hardest hitter he’d ever come across.

Whether McGregor or Mayweather will go home victorious, only time will tell, but from the way Malignaggi is talking – it’s going to be a win for boxing.
