As President of the United States of America, you’d think there’s not a huge amount that Barack Obama can’t do.
But one thing that seems beyond even the most powerful man on the planet is meeting Lionel Messi.
Obama is currently on a tour of Argentina and while in Buenos Aires, revealed that his daughters are eager to meet the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Speaking about Argentina, Obama said:
I also wanted to bring my daughters here, so they could see the beauty and the vibrancy of this city.
They’ve already met one famous Argentinean – His Holiness Pope Francis. Now they want to meet Messi, but I could not arrange that.
Come on, Lionel, don’t piss Obama off!
