Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s second half goal knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League tonight, and the internet was in brilliant form.
Adrien Rabiot had scored before Diego Costa equalised for the Blues, giving Stamford Bridge the hope that they could keep their Champions League dream alive.
But Zlatan struck in the second period to down Guus Hiddink’s side and ensure Chelsea’s miserable season went on, and social media blew up:
Here’s the best of the reaction:
The tipsters weren’t too happy with the first scorer:
if anyone has this Rabiot guy first goal scorer i give up…

People were quick to hit back at PSG’s Twitter account when Costa equalised:

But Zlatan wasn’t to be outdone, and promptly netted the winner, sending the PSG fans into full ‘piss take’ mode:

They thought it was over, and it was. This guy still managed to have a dig at Arsenal though:
PSG are slowly becoming what Barcelona are to Arsenal in the knockout stages of the champions league it seems.#BBCFootball

And this bloke summed it up brilliantly:

Better luck next time, Chelsea.
