Manchester City winger Samir Nasri has appeared in what can only be described as a bizarre video, which seems to glamourise the use of drugs.
During the video, posted to Ahmed Yahiaoui’s Instagram channel, there are shots of what appears to be cannabis and other drug taking equipment, although there is no actual footage of Nasri taking any drugs himself.
Instead, Nasri appears alongside his friend – who is a former Marseille youth team player – as they ride in luxury cars, and pull off some questionable dance moves.

The 29-year-old has been transfer listed by Manchester City, after returning from injury earlier this season overweight, and first team chances could be even more limited after the club signed Leroy Sane and Nolito.
Pep Guardiola had said that the Frenchman was improving his fitness, but this video is unlikely to help reverse his chances, despite no evidence of him indulging in the drugs personally.
The caption features the hashtags #stonerlife and also tags Nasri’s Instagram account, and Nasri is obviously aware of not only the image this casts over him, but also the fact that he is a role model to young children, and this is simply not acceptable behaviour.
Obviously, there is no indication Nasri took any drugs, but if Raheem Sterling faced backlash for showing a video of his gold bathroom sink, this is probably going to cause a fair few waves as well.
Why are footballers so stupid?
