If you’ve heard of Where’s Wally? – who hasn’t! – and are thinking that you haven’t really come across anything since which can rival it, you’re probably right.

Never since have you been able to search incredibly detailed pages looking for a tiny man dressed solely in red and white stripes, and let’s be honest, why would you?

However, now is the time for Where’s Wally? fans to come out in their thousands and get involved, as there is a new, football themed version of the game.

That’s right, all you footie fans out there finally have a game which can test your football knowledge. Alright, I know FIFA already exists. And Football Manager. And… Okay, maybe you already have enough.

Anyway, I digress. Sky Sports has created a new puzzle (part of which is above) to highlight its UHD coverage ahead of the much awaited showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City this weekend.

How, you may ask. Well, digital experts have hidden some top pundits (Where’s Wally? style) in massively busy crowds, as though they’re in the stands watching the Liverpool vs Man City game. And it’s your job to find them.

Hidden in the first image are former Reds defender Jamie Carragher, football presenter Kelly Cates and boxing expert Johnny Nelson.

And in the Man City stand are rugby ace Will Greenwood, cricket expert Michael Atherton and F1 commentator Martin Brundle. Have a go if you think you can handle it.

You’ll have to scan the crowd carefully to spot them all, as their faces blend in seamlessly with their fellow supporters.

And you’ll have to be on the ball (geddit?) because I’ve spent a good 10 minutes trying to find them all and am currently failing miserably.

Sky presenter Kelly Cates said:

The competition between Liverpool and Manchester City looks to be fiercer than ever this year.

Liverpool have so far been able to get the better of Pep Guardiola’s side on a few occasions, and will be hoping to do the same again this weekend to lay down a marker in the title race.

But with stars like Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling in good form for City, this looks like it could be a classic encounter.

I mean, that makes no sense whatsoever to me. All I know is at the time of writing (October 4) City and Liverpool are currently first and second in the league and my United-supporting boyfriend could not be less happy about it. Trust me.

I have just Googled it though, and apparently this game could have a big influence in who wins the 2018/19 Premier League  – I’m assuming because it would allow one team to sail three points ahead to the top of the league.

I would put my money on City to win, just because they were the champions last year, but then I just found out that City have not won at Anfield in their last 19 attempts. So make of that what you will!

Sky Sports will broadcast Liverpool v Man City in Ultra HD on Sky Sports Premier League on Sunday, with the showdown at Anfield kicking off at 4.30pm (BST).
