Since he left for Barcelona in 2014, Liverpool fans have prayed for Luis Saurez to return to Anfield.
Well today is that day, as the Uruguayan striker returned to Melwood to catch up with some of his old team mates.
The news was spread by Reds defender Mamadou Sakho, who used his now legendary Snapchat account to break the news to fans.
We’ve no idea why Suarez is in England (Barcelona don’t play Arsenal until next Wednesday), but if it’s just a trip to see his old mates because he’s got a week off, we’re starting to think he’s not such a bellend after all.
Also, if you don’t follow Sakho on Snapchat, it’s well worth it.
Maybe Luis can teach Christian Benteke how to stay on his feet…or maybe not.
