While many teenage girls may dream of becoming popstars or actors, The Rock’s daughter, Simone Garcia Johnson, knows exactly what she wants to be when she grows up.

The forward thinking 16-year-old wants to join the WWE, just like her famous dad before her.

And Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson couldn’t be happier with his eldest kid’s career choice, supporting her every chinlock and clawhold of the way.

Speaking with evident pride about sporty Simone while on ABC’s Good Morning America, The Rock beamed:

Simone is working so hard, and her work has already started. She wants to be a WWE wrestler.

As the hosts and audience applauded, the Skyscraper star continued:

I love that idea and I think … We had this big conversation.

She came with me to Hong Kong and Beijing and I said, ‘Honey, whatever your passion is, I support that.’

Check out The Rock’s refreshingly supportive attitude for yourself below:

The 6 ft 4 semi-retired wrestler proceeded to add:

Wrestling was good to me, I started my career in Madison Square Garden, so bring it on. She’s going to be a champ.

Simone’s paternal grandmother, who’d been sitting in the television studio audience, also echoed this sentiment, remarking:

She will lay the smackdown.

Simone has previously spoken about her wrestling ambitions with The Hollywood Reporter, revealing:

As much as I love and admire the film industry, I don’t see myself pursuing a career in it at the moment.

I plan to study business in college — NYU, hopefully — and after graduating, I want to pursue wrestling and eventually transition into talent management.

She also spoke about her passion for the contact sport, which appears to run in her blood:

It’s a sport that is unlike anything else in the world.

There’s just a certain amount of passion that every move and match requires, and that’s so admirable. It’s definitely something I’ve thought about and want to pursue.

??????☄️but not in that exact order ;) #Rampage

Despite her young age, clever Simone has already accomplished quite a lot.

She’s the 2018 Golden Globes Ambassador and as part of this title, she works alongside Global Girl Media, a digital journalism academy which trains young women in the practice of citizen journalism.

Speaking about this honour, Simone spoke about what it meant to her:

The platform allows me to be more than my parents’ daughter and be my own person.

I feel especially blessed and honored that I get to be the first Golden Globes Ambassador and represent this brand-new progressive and special title.

It’s great to see parents who take their children’s dreams seriously; allowing them the confidence to develop their skills and seek the life they want to live.

I love how Simone is so focused on her ambitions, and how she’s quickly becoming a strong role model for other driven young women.

I have no doubt whatsoever she’ll one day become legendary in her own right, just like her dedicated dad!
