Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, 50 Cent revealed how he was integral in making the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight happen.
Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, spoke in the interview about his long friendship with undefeated welterweight boxer Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
Host Jimmy asked 50 Cent whether he was supportive of his friend’s decision to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

He said:
I thought that it was a good fight from the beginning.
I think you cannot give that level of fighter the punches chance.
Anybody could land a shot and it could just change everything.
He could start seeing three people!
50 Cent is right as anything could happen in this $500 million mega-fight.
In the interview 50 Cent also spoke about how he helped convince the head of UFC Dana White to move forward with this fight.
He said:
I ran into Dana when they were talking about the fight together.
I told him, I said ‘go after this’ and he feel better about it now.
Jimmy was surprised and asked 50 Cent if he helped make the fight happen to which the rapper replied ‘yeah’ but ‘I ain’t gonna get nothing’.
We bet he gets something though as this fight will be huge!
Today McGregor and Mayweather touched down in London to finish up their week-long press tour that took trash talk to a whole new level.
The fight will take place August 26.
