After almost five years out of the octagon, former heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, just proved he’s still got everything it takes to be one of the best after destroying Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.

At 38-years-old, the six foot three fan favourite and all round beast dominated the first and last round of the fight making it almost impossible to believe he has been out of the game since December 30 2011.

Going into the battle, Lesnar was the underdog both with the fans and with the bookies, and many expected him to become merely the most recent opponent to be wiped out by knockout artist Mark Hunt, reports the Daily Mail.

But following a crippling first round in which Lesnar steamrolled Hunt to the canvas it was made instantly obvious that this would be no easy KO for the Super Samoan.

The second round was picked up by Hunt but as the third and final round came into action it appeared that Hunt was holding back, waiting for the opportunity to unleash one of his massive fists and pick up the KO as he had done against Mir and Antonio Silva.

But that opportunity never came when the former WWE star forced Hunt, who was, before the fight, ranked at number eight in the world, onto his back (again) and bludgeoned him enough times to claim a clear 29-27 victory.

As you can imagine, for someone who is as loved by the fans as Brock Lesnar, the Internet went pretty crazy after his win.
