New police reports have revealed that professional golfer Tiger Woods was found asleep at the wheel in a stopped car at 2.03 am.
The American, who maintains his place as one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, was found eight miles from his house in his 2015 Mercedes, asleep with the motor running and the right blinker flashing.
41-year-old Woods told police, with slurred speech, that he was ‘coming from L.A California from golfing’, before changing his story saying he didn’t know where he was, TMZ reports.
According to the reports, Woods reported he was taking four different drugs for his medical conditions, and his breathaliser test came out at zero.
Despite the breathaliser showing nothing, Tiger failed the sobriety test miserable, unable to walk in a straight line, stand on one leg, or understand the Romberg alphabet test.
The report describes Woods as ‘cooperative as much as possible, very droopy, extremely sleepy, hard to keep eyes open, hard to walk’.
Since the arrest, Woods has claimed he had an ‘unexpected reaction to prescribed medications’.
He is due in court in July.
