Tony Hawk Has Still Got It, Skates World’s First Fully Horizontal Loop

After the abject disappointment that was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 the man himself has jumped on a board to earn back some trust from fans.

Hawk is just three years shy of his 50th birthday, but after teaming up with Sony he demonstrates age is just a number by becoming the first man to skate an entirely horizontal loop.

During his preparations Hawk reveals there is no great science behind his preparations.

He says:

I’m just going to find out the hard way”

You have to respect that.

Credit where credit is due, 16 years on from that 900 and the Birdman is still innovating the sport.
