One of Ireland’s most famous former boxers, Martin Rogan, has revealed how he travelled miles to confront the man who had been trolling him on Twitter.

It is thought that Rogan drove to Derry, Northern Ireland, on Thursday where he went to the trolls workplace and asked for him by his name, reports the Mirror.

But of course, like the coward he was, the troll refused to come out to meet Rogan preventing any face-to-face confrontation from occurring.

When the keyboard warrior would not come out to meet the heavyweight, Martin was forced to give up his crusade against the troll and leave.

He later said ‘let it be a warning to the rest. Argue yes, abusive sick comments NO’.

Proving the downright stupidity of trolls across the globe, this isn’t the first time the fools have been shamed, or worse.

Internet troll Charlie Zelenoff sent Heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, vile and sickening tweets for years, even going so far as to say he was going to kill him and tape his daughter’s mouth.

But then Zelenoff really fucked up by asking Wilder for a fight.

Now why on earth would you challenge somebody with an impeccable boxing record to a fight…

Wilder accepted Zelenoff’s challenge to a fight, met him in a Los Angeles gym and knocked him right out.

And who could forget the time British boxer Curtis Woodhouse was trolled on Twitter before driving to his abuser’s house and forcing him to apologise on daytime TV.

When will they learn…
