WWE Despite his villainous persona in the ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin is a beloved figure among WWE fans, who’d cheer for him over the ‘good guys’.
A six-time WWF Champion, Steve was known for his thrillingly defiant attitude, with his anti-hero persona shaping the Attitude Era. Steve retired in 2003, after having arguably defined 90s WWE more so than any other professional wrestler.
Now, a two-hour documentary about the Triple Crown Champ is on its way, as part of Biography, a long running documentary series which is broadcast by US TV network, A&E.
The A&E Network and WWE Studios are reportedly joining forces to to produce five documentaries about some of the greatest legends in WWE history.

Clocking in at two hours each, these original docs will profile Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage, Roddy ‘Rowdy’ Piper, Booker T, Shawn Michaels and – of course – Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Each doc will feature archival interviews as well as new and never-before-seen footage, bringing fresh insights into the astonishing lives and careers of these WWE icons.

Executive vice president and head of programming at A&E Network, Elaine Frontain Bryant, has made the following comments according to Variety:

As reported by The Wrap, senior vice president and head of WWE Studios, Susan Levison, said:

This project further solidifies WWE Studios’ commitment to deliver new programming across genres and platforms.

Unfortunately, you might have to wait a while to start your Biography binge. The docs on Macho Man, Rowdy and Booker T – directed by Billy Corben, Joe Lavine and Georgy Roy respectively – are scheduled for a Spring 2020 release.
And the wait for the Stone Cold Steve Austin film will be even longer, airing at some point in 2021 alongside the Shawn Michaels doc.
Following his retirement from WWE, Stone Cold has remained a prominent figure in the world of wrestling; hosting reality shows, making sporadic appearances, and presenting his podcast.
