Some people like to run to keep fit. Some like to run to get outdoors. One woman likes to run paths around American cities to draw dicks onto a fitness tracking app…
In fact, make that two women like to run paths around American cities to draw dicks onto a fitness tracking app.
Turns out, the most niche NSFW fitness trend of the millennium is shared by not one, but two, avid runners with a penchant for mapping out phalli with their footwork.
Remember Dick Run Claire?
The 33-year-old from New Jersey, had been visiting her brother in Kansas City for Thanksgiving in 2015, when she went for a run and got lost.
Tracking her way back to her brother’s place in a roundabout route, when she looked back at her GPS tracker, she realised the path she’d taken resembled the outline of a cock and balls, VICE reported.
Claire continued to pursue dick drawing brilliance in the public eye – which alerted another Claire across the country to what she claims to be phallus-related fraudulent activity.
Meet the women claiming to be the Original Dick Run Claire, an LA writer and comedian, Claire Wyckoff.
She even called out VICE on Twitter:
Since Wyckoff has spoken to Refinery29 to stake her claim.
She said:
I don’t mind that she’s running dicks. I mind that she’s acting like she came up with this without crediting me.
By the looks of her accounts, the LA-based dick runner has a real talent. She’s done many different designs from a handjob to Boba Fett by way of the poo emoji, Space Invaders and a middle finger salute.
The New Jersey-based Dick Run Claire, however, swore she didn’t know about “OG Dick Run Claire” and was running dicks of her own accord since the day she got lost.
She added:
I think there’s enough roads out there for all of us to dick run to our hearts content.
But Wyckoff isn’t having it, and told BuzzFeed she’d like to toss down the gauntlet and challenged her rival to a ‘dickathon’. Apparently, this world isn’t big enough for two dick runners, after all.
