Tyson Fury Strikes Again, Calls Out Conor McGregor And MMA

Outspoken boxer and cheap Aerosmith tribute artist Tyson Fury has launched a scathing attack on Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor via Twitter.

The WBA and WBO heavyweight title holder was reacting to McGregor’s loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196, and did not hold back his thoughts on the sport of mixed martial arts as a whole.

Yeah, I don’t think the world could cope with two…

We’d love to see how Fury would cope if someone slapped him in a ‘ninja shit’ chokehold, to be honest.

His derogatory opinion of MMA is nothing new, and has drawn mutual derision from UFC President Dana White – who had to ask who Fury was after he challenged Cain Velasquez.

Fury also suggested that McGregor had failed to deliver on his word.

With Fury previously spouting an array of allegedly sexist and homophobic comments, his is clearly a reliable opinion.

Meanwhile UFC featherweight champion McGregor also took to social media after his loss.

Unlike Fury, it was with a sense of humility and to reflect on his Vegas disappointment.

I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed. I will never apologize for taking a shot. Shit happens. I’ll take this loss like a man. I will not shy away from it. I will not change who I am. If another champion goes up 2 weights let me know. If your tired of me talking money, take a nap. I’ll still be here when you wake up with the highest PPV and the gate. Still talking multi 7’s. Thank you to the true support and fuck the hate that came out of the woodwork. I love it all. Its still steak for breakfast. I’ve been here many times in my life in some form or another. I’ll eat it all and come back stronger. Aldo you are a pussy. Dos anjos you are a pussy. When the history books are written, I showed up. You showed up on Twitter. To the fans! Never ever shy away from challenges. Never run from adversity. Face yourself head on. Nate I will see you again.

Hard to argue with.

Both boxing and MMA are highly respectable combat sports, but based on the antics of these two champions there is only one fighter who deserves a shred of respect, and has any claim to being ‘the fighting pride of Ireland’.

Just to clarify, it is not Tyson Fury.
