It looks like Ser Davos Seaworth could be bringing some MMA moves to the next series of Game of Thrones.
The Onion Knight has been filmed sparring with Conor McGregor’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, John Kavanagh, in a video the trainer posted to Instagram.
Off to teach Davos Seaworth unarmed combat in case he loses his sword. Seriously.

Ser Davos, aka actor Liam Cunningham, was being put through his paces by Kavanagh at the Straight Blast Gym in Dublin.
So could season seven see Davos rear naked choke a White Walker?
Maybe, but unfortunately for any MMA/Game of Thrones lovers out there, Entertainment.ie report that the other man in the Octagon with Cunningham is director Jim Sheridan, which might mean he’s being trained for another production.

That doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t be seeing those moves in Thrones though, as it’s also possible Sheridan might be guest-directing an episode of the new series.
