The infamous illegal torrent site ‘The Pirate Bay’ is looking to take on popular sites like Netflix and Amazon Prime by letting you stream movies.

Now when people visit the site, they’ll spy a button which says ‘stream it!’  The button, which is apparently ‘in beta,’ is powered by the Torrents Time plugin and allows users to stream torrents without having to wait for a full download or use third-party software, TechInsider reports.

The Torrents Time plug in was made by the same people who developed Popcorn Time, an app that’s been called the ‘Netflix for pirated movies.’ The crafty app turns any torrent site like The Pirate Bay  into a pirate streaming library.

The button on The Pirate Bay works with both Chrome and Firefox browsers and will reportedly play any video file . While you usually have to wait for a movie torrent to download the entire file before you can watch it, the streaming option means you can play the movie sooner by searching for only the right data needed to immediately stream the file without buffering.

But before you get too excited about the potential endless bounty of movies before you, we’ve got to remind you that it’s still very illegal to use The Pirate Bay, whether for downloading torrents or streaming, and may possibly damage your computer or worse get you in trouble with the law.
