Researchers at Stanford University have discovered that humans get turned on by the private parts of robots, apparently.
The study saw subjects instructed by a NAO robot to touch it on 13 different parts of its body.
Volunteers were found to show greater hesitancy when asked to touch ‘private’ regions such as the robot’s bum, but readings also indicated a greater state of physiological and emotional arousal.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Li said:
Our work shows that people respond to robots in a primitive, social way.
Social conventions regarding touching someone apply to a robot’s body parts as well.
This research has implications for both robot design and theory of artificial systems.
So there we have it, mankind will literally contemplate fucking anything.
