It seems that Apple is to bypass it’s ‘S’ version of the Iphone 7 and jump straight in with the Iphone 8 as employees in Israel have revealed they are already developing the hardware.

In light of their 10th anniversary next year, it is thought that Apple will have something big planned.

An unnamed Apple employee from Israel told Business Insider that they were working on a radical redesign for release next year.

The employee, creating the hardware in Herzliya, Israel, said the iPhone 8 will be “different” from the six and seven which have been criticised for being too similar to their predecessors.

Rumours are also doing the rounds that the iPhone 8 will have an edge-to-edge display without any bezels or borders, giving it a huge, smooth appearance.

The home button will also be embedded into the front glass panel, making it completely invisible.

Daily Mail reports that the eight might have a curved screen, rivaling Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge.

In January, Apple revisited their 2013 patent which proposed curved glass with a case made of fused liquid metal.

Unfortunately, the phone still won’t have a standard headphone jack so we’re stuck with Apple’s weird little buds forever!
