Stuffed-nosed snorers and long-suffering sleep-deprived partners, assemble!
Have a whip round because ASDA is selling a £12 reprieve to your nighttime noise problems, according to a lot of customers who have given a new anti-snoring pillow rave reviews.
With sleep at a premium, the pillow obviously costs a little more than your basic headgear, but who can put a price on a good night’s shut-eye?
ASDA is selling a Silentnight Anti Snore Firm Support Pillow which could change the dreamscape of your evenings for good.
The product description reads:
This Anti Snore pillow from Silentnight has an ergonomically designed foam core to position the head in such a way as to minimise snoring.
In tests, 8 out of 10 users reported a reduction in snoring. The foam core adds support and ensures the pillow retains it’s shape.
The hypo-allergenic pillow also comes with a two-year guarantee for the sneezers among us.
Customers seem genuinely chuffed with their purchase, too, with some saying they’ve been back to the supermarket for more after trialling the product.
That probably explains why they’re sold out at the moment, but there’s always the hope of a restock and a good night’s sleep.
One five star-reviewer said the pillow proved ‘that good I’m going back for another’.
Some have even bought one for every bedroom in the house.
Another satisfied customer with a newly-happy partner wrote:
I was sceptical but desperate when I ordered this pillow. Only had it one week but its already going on holiday with me as my husband says it works. Happy days!
One former sceptic chimed in with a further five-star rating to enthuse about how their ‘hubby has stopped snoring’ adding, ‘so it is a 5 star from me’.
A third commented on the ‘ease’ of use:
This cushion is very good for me. Soft touch and very comfy. Would recommend to people to buy it as it is worth it for the value.
The pillow is very light therefore easy to carry around and is recommended for all age groups. I have already bought some for my family.
One sceptic had their mind changed saying it ‘seems’ to work well – and despite the pillow not totally eradicating their snoring problem, they were happy with the results.
They said:
I was very sceptical when I bought this pillow but it seems to be working so far, it’s not 100% but there is a noticeable difference in my sleeping and less complaints from the wife.
Even though snoring is mostly considered annoying for partners, there are some health risks associated with the noisy nocturnal nasal issue.
Snoring is the noise made by ‘turbulent airflow’ which cause the tissues of the roof of the mouth and throat to vibrate, habitual snorers can be at risk for serious health problems, including obstructive sleep apnea.
So, the pillow might be beneficial even for those who aren’t keeping their partners up at night. But, be warned, the pillow hasn’t worked as well for every customer.
A formerly hopeful person lamented:
I bought this for my partner and pinned all my hopes on it for a peaceful nights sleep but after 2 nights of using the pillow there has been absolutely no change in the noise coming from him!
Disappointingly it hasn’t helped at all.
Good luck, and sleep be with you.
