Don’t even bother trying to embark on a police chase in Dubai because the police are on a different playing field now.
Dubai police already own 14 superfast cars including a limited edition Aston Martin One 77, a Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari FF.
The force’s latest addition to their fleet of fancy cars is the Bugatti Veyron which can drive at incredible speed of 253mph.

The prestigious cars are mainly used to improve public image and for a marketing tool. I can’t imagine their first choice for an actual car chase would be one of those lavish drives.
As well as having a reputation for being extravagant, Dubai’s police force also want to up their eco-friendly credentials so are planning a fleet of electric and hybrid cars by 2030.
Italian police have also invested in some fancy rides, owning the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, the second fastest police car.
The Bugatti can go from 0-60mph in just two and a half seconds.
