Elon Musk has spoke out about that risky porn film shot inside a Tesla while it was on Autopilot.
Having already rocketed his $100,000 midnight cherry Tesla Roadster into space, Musk is no stranger to doing highly unusual things with luxury cars.
And his response to the NSFW film – which led to Tesla becoming the number one search term on Pornhub – was classic Musk.
Taking to Twitter, the 47-year-old technology entrepreneur tweeted:
Turns out there’s more ways to use Autopilot than we imagined.
He then followed this up with a second tweet:
Shoulda seen it coming…
Although Musk didn’t explicitly mention the movie in question – which is charmingly entitled My Tinder Date Cums In Me In A Tesla On Autopilot – it is blatantly obvious as to what he was referring to.
Although people using fancy – and non-fancy – cars as a makeshift boudoir is nothing new, the clip proved controversial due to how dangerous this particular situation was.
The porn performer couple had placed the Tesla on Autopilot while filming their, erm, key scenes, which could well have turned their passion into peril.
Tesla are currently working towards ensuring their Autopilot mode completely hands-free. However, as things stand, a pair of human hands are still needed to ensure a non-precarious journey.
Needless to say, the pair in the nine-minute-long video had their hands on other things at that precise moment in time…
Independent porn star Taylor Jackson – who co-starred in the X-rated clip – spoke with The Register about her risky ride.
Taylor – who has since changed her Twitter name to Tesla Jackson in accordance with her new-found fame – revealed:
Earlier this year I was on a road trip with my boyfriend and he asked me to have sex with him while driving.
We both thought it was hot and joked about doing it again and putting it on Pornhub. We thought someone had to have done it before so we looked it up, but we couldn’t find a single video.
A few weeks later I signed up for a Pornhub account and this video was one of the first few videos I made.
However, Taylor has also warned others against taking this raunchy risk, telling The Register:
I have experienced Autopilot a lot so I did feel safe.
Most of the highway we were on was straight. We did have one scare where I hit the steering wheel and knocked it out of Autopilot mode. I wouldn’t recommend it since it is dangerous.
Although Taylor’s antics have sparked a few chuckles, this is definitely not one to try out for yourself…
