Jam CityBuckle up Potterheads, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is coming to iOS and Android on April 25.
Developer Jam City announced the release date today with news that various actors have reprised their roles for voice work in the game.
They include Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore), Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince), Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey), and Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch).
Set in the 1980s, Hogwarts Mystery follows the trials and tribulations of Hogwarts attendees right after the disappearance of Voldemort.
Jam CityWhile the main cast we knew from the books and films won’t be present, it’ll still provide users with the ultimate, immersive Hogwarts experience, GameSpot reports.
Players will be able to create their own student, pick their house, learn magic in classes and even choose their own story decisions.

As per the app’s website:
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the first game in which players can create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student. The game will launch under Portkey Games, a new label dedicated to creating experiences inspired by the magic and adventures of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
It is one of two Harry Potter mobile games in the pipelines. Wizards Unite, the other app en route to a smartphone near you, is being developed by Niantic, the studio behind the outrageously successful Pokemon Go.
Warner BrosLike its inspiration, the game will have punters exploring the real world to gather power-ups and defend key points.
Warner Bros. has teased another Potter game for consoles only but is yet to confirm an announcement date.

The Horcrux Emporium opened on Lee Lane, Bolton, Greater Manchester, in October and has been attracting witches and wizards from across the country.
The bar, which has nothing to do with JK Rowling and isn’t officially licensed, is completely Harry Potter inspired and boasts decor inspired by Diagon Alley.

Best of all though is the menu which boasts potions like Dumbledore’s Password a delicious sherbet lemon vodka and Sicilian lemonade martini mix-up and the traditional Butter Beer which boasts a recipe Dumbledore probably wouldn’t approve of.
You can even learn how to mix these potions yourself by attending classes led by the bar’s owner Tom Benson.
