InstagramA furious woman in Russia has left her husband after she made the startling discovery he was cheating on her with another woman, via Instagram.
I’m not going to preach about the importance of staying faithful in a relationship – even a loveless one – but it goes without saying, while in a committed pact with your significant other it bodes well if you can resist external attractions.
If you’re going to cheat – again I in no way condone this type of behaviour – at least have the decency and the smarts not to get caught slipping with the person you’re cheating with on social media – I think it should be rule number one in the ‘Cheaters For Dummies’ handbook.
InstagramYet lo and behold, some people seem to think social media platforms will have no effect or consequences – until it comes back to bite them in the arse.
Case-in-point; Yulia Agranovych, who found out her husband was being unfaithful when she was scrolling through her Instagram timeline.
Speaking to Russian news network Ren-TV, as reported by the Independent, Agranovych said:
I wasn’t searching for anything, it was a normal morning.
East2West NewsHowever when she came across an account owned by Vlada Abramovich, her interest peaked as it showed they followed and were followed by, mutual acquaintances – naturally, she delved further into her account.
Thanks to the modern way we consume technology and how social media is subconsciously integrated into our lives, this is all perfectly normal behaviour, albeit some may class it as social stalking?
As Agranovych went further into Abramovich’s account she began to realise they shared more than just a mutual social circle.
One post in particular caught Agranovych’s eye – a picture of a city view from her own bedroom window – the only question she asked herself, is how did this particular photo end up on another girl’s account?

Reacting in a manner you’d completely expect from someone who’s just found out their significant other has been less than honest, she confronted the pair on Instagram posting a comment which read:
Beautiful view from my husband’s bedroom.
Despite being busted, caught dead-to-rights, the cheating couple tried to deny any kind of affair was going on.
Agranovych’s husband, Nazar Grynko, insisted Abramovich was not his mistress but in fact a friend’s girlfriend who took the picture when he invited his friends over for a drink before going to watch a film.
However she replied to him saying:
When the guests came, they would have headed to the kitchen to drink tea – not to the bedroom.
East2West NewsFair point, I think Nazar has no choice now but hold up his hands and say: ‘I messed up, I’m sorry’.
Not sure how much it will help him out in the long run, but at least he would’ve admitted to his mistakes?
As for Abramovich, she wasn’t going along with Grynko’s fibs and her response to Agranovych was rather unapologetic and nonchalant, saying:
She is his wife, not mine, what’s the problem? Is he just a vegetable without free will? Don’t make me laugh.

During his confession he claimed he was never ‘mentally unfaithful’ to his wife and he ‘told every girl he was married’ – I guess this makes everything ok then?
No, no it certainly does not!
Agranovych said she confronted the other women her soon-to-be ex-husband was sleeping around with and unlike Abramovich, they seemed a bit remorseful.

According to her:
The other girls were much more pleasant, one even crying on the phone to me, saying she had no idea he was married.
She went on to confirm a divorce is the only viable option for her adding:
If he finds a woman who is ready to be with him, and to accept it, let them be happy together.
She’s just glad she found out about his infidelities now, rather than further down the line as they were planning to start a family together.
