There’s been a few changes to our social media recently, with each individual app making adjustments for their users.
Instagram introduced their story feature less than a year ago but they’re changing it up already.
The new update will change the way followers are allowed to respond to a person’s story.

Users will now be able to reply to a particular story whilst using the app, with a photo or video of their own.
A blog post from Instagram said:
Today’s update is just one of the ways we’re working to make Direct the best place to have fun, visual conversations with friends on Instagram.
When a friend replies to your story with a photo or a video, you’ll see it in your inbox and you can then tap to view it and also see a sticker of the original story that’s only visible to you.

The new feature will be introduced to both iOS and Android users starting today, according to Instagram.

Last month it was reported that ‘Stories’ was being used by 250 million people a day – which beats the 166 million people who use Snapchat overall.
