There is a new app that will put you to sleep faster than the story of how your partner’s day was.
Napflix has been created to fulfill all your drowsy dreams, only containing content that induces deliciously deep sleep.
From videos of serene landscapes to Halle Berry’s 2002 Oscar acceptance speech, there is a library of sleepy content to choose from on the Spanish ‘Siesta Video Platform’.
The website reads:
We all know the feeling of insomnia. Your body wants to sleep but your mind is still awake and active. So how can we steady up our mind.
Napflix is a video platform where you can find the most silent and sleepy content selection to relax your brain and easily fall asleep.
It even has siesta mode which rotates the video so that you can watch it whilst lying down as well as having a timer so you don’t have to worry about turning it off.
There is a quantum theory documentary so you can bore yourself to sleep, or a very slow video of the life of a panda which you might not want to stop watching.
Napflix is a non-profit enterprise run by Victor Guitérrez de Tena and Francesc Pérez, who both work in advertising.
Victor said to the Metro:
Three weekends ago I was watching a typical goalless football match, and I started to think about all the things that I usually watch around my naptime that help me to sleep.
‘This generated an idea, gather all that content on a platform to give value to this kind of video.
‘Now it is a digital platform that helps you nap in a worldwide level.
Now we can feel less guilty about crawling into bed with our laptops when we say we’re ‘going to bed’.
No more watching thrilling TV series’ before bed!
