Apple are in big, big trouble. In short: they’ve paid f**k all tax!

I’m joking! I have no clue about how much, if any, tax Apple pay, though I’m assuming it’s the right amount because I haven’t seen owt in the news.

They’re still in the news, but it’s to do with upgrade problems. You see, the iOS 12.1.2 has been shortchanging people of mobile data services. Cutting them off, basically, Forbes says.

The tech giants claims that it ‘addresses an issue that could affect cellular connectivity in Turkey for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.’

Can you spell irony? Open mouth, insert foot, Apple.

‘Thanks @Apple @AppleSupport for the Christmas present…since updating my iPhone to iOS 12.1.2 I can’t access cellular data. I reset my device and now I can’t activate it anymore. No Service. You better fix this in an update soon!,’ one user wrote.

Another said: ‘Anyone else lose the ability to use your phone as an actual phone when you upgraded to #iOS 12.1.2 on your #iPhone? What the heck @Apple? I can’t even call @AppleSupport and can’t make a reservation at a #AppleStore until next week!’

A third vented:

Intermittent “no service” errors on my #iPhone since iOS 12 update. was hoping 12.1.1 or 12.1.2 would fix it. Nope! Got a new SIM from provider, but problem persists. There one minute, gone the next. (P.S. I am not in Turkey) @apple @AppleSupport @USCellular.

One person said:

Why does my iphone xs get fine wifi then randomly it sucks? Never had this problem with my 6 and no one else in the family experiences the issues either. Just me w my iphone xs.

Going by the Twitter posts alone, data loss following upgrades to iOS 12.1.2 have been found in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Not good. Not good at all. And right before Christmas. Nice going, Apple, ya filthy animals.
