With the tenth anniversary of the iPhone coming up next year and the collective ‘meh’ that met the Seven’s launch Apple are poised to release yet another brand spanking new phone next year.
Already rumours about the Eight have started to leak with one industry insider claiming that there will be three new iPhone models launched next year which will likely have glass backs.
Apparently there will be a 5.5-inch, 5-inch and 4.7-inch model, all of which will have glass backs instead of the metal casings current iPhones use.
Biel and Lens are likely to be providing all the glass backs for the new iPhones next year.
It’s a big change for Apple who are seeking to reinvigorate their fan base after the iPhone 7s were criticised for being too similar to previous models.
Nikkei Asian Review reported that the iPhone 8 will also have a premium 5.5-inch model with a curved display using advanced organic light-emitting diode panels,
It’s also been rumoured that the new phone will feature wireless charging as well, so expect to take out a second mortgage every time yours break just like with the headphones.
