Nothing to see here, just another VR headset coming to the UK…and Canada! Facebook’s Oculus Rift is finally going to hit many retailers come September 20th.
The Oculus Rift was originally available mainly for developers while the makers learn more about the product and how they can make it the best it can be, however in the meantime, HTC released theirs.
Oculus Rift Now Available For Pre-Orders
Besides the UK, Oculus, the Facebook-owned company announced it will be making the Rift available in France, Germany, and Canada with the opportunity to pre-order today and have it shipped next month.
In the UK, you can order from Amazon (including France and Germany), John Lewis, Curry’s PC World, Game and Harrods.
Microsoft stores and Best Buy in Canada will be stocking it also. It’s expected to retail for £549 and depending on exchange rates, around €699. If you’ve never tried it before, some of those stores will be offering demos.
