PowerVision launches PowerEgg, the egg-shaped drone that combines a stunning design and aerodynamic innovation…it’s also gesture controlled for faster learning.
The first thing you’ll notice about the PowerEgg is its design. it’s unusual for a drone to be that shape and PowerVision are changing how we see drones.
Whilst docked, it looks like a giant egg, then it unfolds to reveal its landing legs, four propellers and a three-axis gimbal mounted with a 4K camera.
PowerEgg Offers Live Streaming and Gesture Control
The PowerEgg can capture high-resolution videos, photos and it also supports live video streaming up to 3.1 miles and flight time of approximately 23 minutes.
You can control it using a gesture-controlled pad, or you can still use the traditional style control with a smartphone or tablet mounted and connected via WiFi.
The one-handed remote has motion sensing capabilities, allowing you to interact with and manipulate the drone in flight via gesture recognition through advanced, integrated accelerometers and gyroscopes. You can control up-down, left-right, and near-far motions.
Its flight software includes multiple automated flight modes so you easily frame your shots while the PowerEgg automatically manages its flight path. These PowerModes include Follow Me, Orbit, WayPoint, and Selfie mode.
You can use your drone with iOS or Android devices and it’s available now for preorders directly from PowerVision
